ordered a new welder today. got the miller 210 can't wait to get it and start welding on the project
what welders are you guys using?

Where did you get the 210?
Why didn't you get the new 212 vs the 210?
I sold my old 120 (predicesor to the 180 & what ever came out before that).
It was a good welder, but one of the guys on the bombers list was looking for a good smaller used 220 welder. So I tossed mine in the ring and it sold.
So I have been shopping around (new & used).
I am picking up my new 252 today.

I picked up a MM251 a few weeks ago. I upgraded from a MM175. Not even in the same league.

I think I may be in love. It's probly a good thing it doesn't have a vagina. I looked for one. :redneck:

gary ifn ya need to store that at my shop your more than welcome:;

at least till your shop is finished:D

I've welded a ton with my Miller 210, if I could go back the 251 has a bit more ajustabilty. Never had problems with the Miller line. I also have used the Migmaster I think model is 250 works fairly well but since we moved it the stinger has a gas leak now.

I own a 210, and its far more welder than I would ever need. Very nice unit, you will be stoked when you start using it. :awesomework:

i have a lincoln 175 plus that i really enjoy but wish i had gotten a miller 210:mad:

Not enough money at the time though:mad:

a lil clarke 110V arc welder. it can only run 1/16 rod for short amounts of time but it lays a good weld and i can do 3/8 without preheat (but i preheat at least to 500* becouse im a good lil welder :cheer: )

i got it for 160 $ at sears. and its the only thang i can run in my dads townhouse garage.

ill get a better one once i move to eastern wa:beer:

I use Miller 210's on a daily basis, and they are great. I personally own a Lincoln from year's ago, and I don't remember the last time I used it. As far as light fab like everybody on here is doing goes, the 210 is awesome, I worked from a Miller 250 at a past job, and if you are not doing repetitive work on the same setting, it alway's seemed like i was dialing it in that last little bit all the time. if the 250 came with like 8 or 9 preset's like a 210, it would be awesome, I don't understand the need in wanting all the adjustability.

I have a MM175, it works great the only piece I am missing is something that will weld aluminum, maybe wirefeed unit or just a high freq TIG machine… someday
