New Years Ride at Golden Mountain???

Gonna try to make this nd drag some buddies along. That winchin churchill trail is a beast at the end. We were there about a month ago and say a bunch of headlights behind us in the woods by the rv sites and upon further investigation the following morning I figured out what the hype was about. Looking forward to new years ride and meeting some new folks. Prob arrive sun afternoon and leave mon night or tues morning.

I put a track on my new steering cylinder and can't find it anywhere in the whole USA. If it don't come I guess I'll see if my dodge will make crackhead!

I will be there as well probably getting there on Sunday.

The new trail between Honeybee and Razorback is a blast if you haven't tried it yet.

I couldn't climb the Jungle slab last weekend. Hopefully because it was damp. I went past neutral to reverse while on the throttle and came back down faster than I wanted to. ;D

Just lock the front steering and steer with the rear. :driving:

You shouldnt even be allowed to use reverse just to make it fair. :****:

Is that the one with the right turn at the top through fat man squeeze? Thought we'd have to lube the tires to get through that first section.

hey Jason, I think to make it really fair , perry should only be allowed to run in two wheel drive! By the way, I got home from work and my new cylinder was here. Looks like it will go on the jeep this weekend. If I could figure out how to post pictures on here, I would post that eagle machine 8 in ram. If I text you the picture Jason will you post it in the " for sale" add?

Is said double ended ram the one you so carefully modified to work as a single ended ram now, or is it a new one? :dunno: If you need me to post it for you just send it to me I can handle it.

Modified ram is laying in the shop floor awaiting some needed attention new ram is laying in truck floor board awaiting to be installed. eagle machine ram mistakenly made 8 in long instead of 10 in long is said ram awaiting a new home. I will get pictures tomorrow thanks jason

Planning on going up on Sunday, but don't have anything set in stone yet. What are your plans? I'm pretty sure Wizzo and his group are planning on Sunday as well. Haven't heard what Hal is planning yet. We also need to plan the menu and what is needed to bring. My cooking is not on par with you guys, so if someone has some ideas post them up.

Anyone want to ride fri.?
I thought you were gone for the weekend Steve. I'm going to see what the weather dose, f it snows Wednesday like they are predicting, I may go to hinch mountain wednesday night. When it rains and turns to snow here it usually starts snowing up there a lot earlier. I've seen 4 in of snow up there and none down here. Hinch mountain, by the way, in south of crossville it just trail riding, but is nice at night! I think I'm going up golden mountain way saterday morning sometime and will be able to ride through Tuesday mid morning. Jason asked for a menu, I can bring some ribs if I know how many to bring. I heard bigsam chime in like mabey he's off work. Looks like the whole gang will be there!

I was thinking about bringing a couple of chickens and do some beer butt chicken. I have 2 stands but my little Coleman grill isn't big enough. Hal are you planning on bringing the big grill?
