Have you looked into Jaguars. My buddy Keith over here has bought a couple of them over the past year. Very safe cars and one a few years old are priced pretty good. Ride is very nice and get very good fuel mileage.

Honestly, we had a Q45 and it was the best damn car on the market for everything. Service, ride, comfort, affordability. IMO one of the best cars manufactured today. If you want to buy a used version of any highline luxury car, GO TO ATLANTA. They are the hub for all cars that come off leases and have the best prices without a doubt. Been there done that already. Have you looked at the Lexus's? :dunno:

I have not looked as I am in no position to buy jack ****. I have 2 bikes, trailer and a Vitara and not getting rid of any to buy this either. :flipoff1:

And a one car garage. This ride will get put away in the winter months.

My mom has that exact car someone knocked off the side mirror and it was nine hunge to get a new one. Other than that it a nice and reliable ride

Back in my grape eatin orgy days(lookin like Bones's old avatar), I owned an 89' XJS V-12 convertible. Total chic magnet, but DAMN. Battery went out and took out the electrical system with it. $3800.00 later, I got a new battery and didn't even get my free bowl of chicken soup. I traded it in for a slightly used 71 Ford Pinto with low miles and a leaky gas tank. :****: :flipgotcha:

Thats my Jag up above, 2006 XJR with 29K miles on the clock, still under Factory Wty until May of 2010 or 50K miles.. Paid $27K for it.

I had a 2004 XJ8 with 31K Miles on it still under Factory Wty for 3 months when I bought it in August of last year.. Paid $17K for it. Sold it for $19500 after putting 9K miles on it.

XJ8 has 300HP and gets 28MPG
XJR has 400HP and gets 24MPG ( I regularly get 20MPG around town and I drive it like I stole it.)

The XJ8/R from model year 2004 and up are currently rated one of the most reliable vehicles out there by JD Powers and Associates.. Ranks above Toyota, Lexus, Honda etc..

Jaguars of today are 1 gazillion times more reliable than Jaguars of old.. ie.. the XJS V12 mentioned above.

My StepDad has a Mercedes and the local dealership wanted $600.00 to change the oil. They charged him $125.00 for a bulb for the headlights that he ended up getting at a parts store for like $25.00.

C55 AMG fun car ,supercharger? I have fun on SUPERCHARGER test drives.........
anyway AMG brakes,front & rear pads & rotors ,bout $1200.00
spark plugs, takes 16, bout $600.00.....just plugs...
A & B service not to bad...........but NO MAINTENANCE ON A MERCEDES IS REASONABLE...
XENON BULBS....if it has em , over $200.00 a side.....

C230 not a bad car.....main thing is to get it checked out........DUH!
Some of our customers here in Atlanta that either have business or a house in Birmingham use a shop there
I am not shure of their name though.......STAR MOTORS...STAR MOTORWORKS...we have talked to them on the phone about cars ....they seem like nice folks...?
if yall find one close to home...maybe let them do a P P I Ffor you..?
they should charge yall 1 hour labor.........our labor rate is $94.00 an hour.

PPI stands for...PRE PURCHASE INSPECTION......you want that...

(hoping it doesnt sell anytime soon) laughing1 Amber wants a little Benz, Im exhausting all avenue's on these at this point as she has driven several other car's and even passed on a brand new car. The girl wants what she wants so that is what I will find her. Its no different then one of us wanting a Jeep , FJ or buggy... everyone wants what the want at some point.
