. It's been doing it as long as I remember looking at it. My other big block was doing the same thing, and found out that it had a stock 4 quart pan and would only hold 4 quarts when on the full mark. I changed to an old drag race pan and fixed that problem. I'm going to be down for a couple of months to build a custom set of headers and exhaust system and will prolly change pans too. As Macman asked in a previous post, did the problem start recently or since the engine was built?
it's gotta be the big square sump on my pan. Like sawzall said. I've looked at other off road pans and they have small square deep sums. Gifts look at another pan . My engine builder stills uses my some money, maybe I'll get him to get me a dry sump setup fir payment.Macman said:Hal did you ever figure out your problem?
