It will look great as long as you keep it shined up with silicone spray:D

i'm not too much into the how spectacular it will look versus will it last, will it have some color verus black. i see the write-up's on sites on it by vendors. but have not seen or heard others that are using it as body armor like i intend to, i do alot of trails on my own property where the roads have lots of over growth after a few years. so i sort of drive thru squeezed openings for miles, lots of brush. same with trails we all run too, it's those damn little scratches that someimes turn into DEEP wounds that start to need touch-up paint or suffer rusty scars. I'm hoping to get this stuff on and if anything re-spray once in awhile. just don't want to waste time if the crap peels or cracks off in chunks... might just be easier to put plate in areas. but then you have moisture behind that or whatever, versus a LINE X spray on deal.

Prep work will make all the difference in the world.....If I was to do a whole rig like you plan I would start with a DA and 40 gritt and scuff the whole thing where you plan to armour. Then the material has something to grab and you will not have to worry about it coming off. No worries about sanding scratches the liner will fill them and can be built up to like 3/8" thick.... You will have very little resale value on this rig when finished....But to each his own....... Post up pictures of the process:awesomework:

BigIron is correct, preparation will make the difference. Also before you apply the material make sure you take some type of solvent to get the oils & debris off, that is where alot of the prep work comes in handy....

Also the material you buy in a can vs. the stuff linex uses is different, the stuff linex uses is dispensed using a mixed metering system for critical mixture ratios. Also when linex sprays on their liners the material is coming out of the gun @ roughly 170 degrees, the material dries almost instantly.

The stuff you get in the can takes a little while to dry which is caused by the difference in material ratios. Even though it feels dry to the fingers doesnt mean its 100% cured, that is why whenn you get it done @ linex they tell you not to put anything on it for like 48 hours.:awesomework:

I think the colored linex looks like junk kinda but the black does not look bad on the outside of vehicles i think even when its been pressure washed after a good day in the trails. Friend of mine did it on his toy and it held up pretty good.
