October 1-4 Harlan Memorial Ride

And mainly because I like typing to myself. Nut and bolt check was started. Replacing intake and exhaust gaskets done. Let's run it for a minute to let it get to temp before finishing the bolt check and running it around the yard. What could go wrong starting this big block?
That's a weird place to break. Wrong starter/flywheel combo?

Got the explorer gears and locker done, bolt checked and ready to go. Wiring in the ranger now. This is going to be a great time! See you all Friday night!!

Truck, trailer, and rig are prepped and ready to go to Harlan. Just need to load everything up on Tuesday and then it'll be down to food and clothes. We plan to road trip on Thursday and will be in RV Spot #13 (at Harlan County Campground) until Sunday.

Just throwing this out if anyone needs it. I got @Bebop setup yesterday. I've got a gps map for Harlan that works on Avenza maps on Android and Iphone if anyone needs it. Just PM me your email address and I'll get you fixed up. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn close.

I is here-ish. We just have to patch a half dollar hole in a tire, make a transfer case stop pouring out fluid and find a towel. Pretty sure I need a fan installed and a couple power ports to charge phones. Besides that, we are here and somewhat coherent.

I enjoyed this trip as always. Brought the Sami home and put her up wet. Gonna start pulling shocks, transfer case and some electrical this coming weekend. I made it all the way there, around some of the trails and all the way back.

Special thanks to Bart and Lee....having housing is important this day and age. Donnie and Amanda for providing trail guidance and more food than I ever could have eaten. Thank you to Jon for helping provide transportation to get parts to get us off the trail. Patrick and Erica for picking up the slack babysitting the Frenchy.....it helped a dire situation turn into a much more positive one.
Pictures and videos to follow.

Can't say enough good things about the amazing family that the Hardline Crawlers people are.
Had a shitty week that ended up by blowing the engine in my truck.
Special thanks to Bart for the loaner truck, Patrick and Erica for the other loaner truck, Barton for the tools, Donny and Amanda for the food and everyone else for the support, concern, advice and input. Love y'all.

Buggy did awesome minus a starter issue I got to fix.

Interstesting edit of the picture of the Silver-a-do loading up on the trailer....What was towing it? hmmmm???? ;)

Hate that happened, but I'm sure you'll bounce back on your feet.

Our first trip to Harlan was a success. Covered a bunch of ground, had amazing weather, great food, and awesome times with the wheeling friends and family. Will get some pictures up later in the week.

Why are all the pics lately blurry as ****

They are being added as Thumbnails instead of as Full Images. When a photo is uplaoded it gives an option of Thumbnail (smaller and blurry until it is clicked on a downloaded in full definition) or Full Images.
