If you notice Moparman is wedged between a tree and a log in this pic, naturally his next move was to turn the jeep 180* and get wedged in the same spot facing the opposite direction. Fortunately we had 1/3 of the recovery gear necessary to get him out of this spot and he had blown driver's front shaft on the first hill of the day.

You know, after really studying that pic, I actually think it took a fair amount of skill to get into the position that I ended up in before I had to be winched out. Especially without turning over, and not tearing up too many accessories.

We all make mistakes, yeah thats a main access road. If you put your mind to it anything is possible.

Anybody done the new trails at aop yet? Creampie, little ceasars and soup Samich? I got about 100-150 yards up creampie and decided my rig had nothing for it. Spent longer than I care to admit trying to come back down it. View attachment 114825View attachment 114826

Soup samich is actually an older trail that finally got the name sign. But now we have 3 musketeers. Hope to get time to cut some more before New years.

Harlan for Thanksgiving. I couldn't take my rig because my truck got hit by a drunk driver last week and I didn't have time to get it fixed yet. Rode shotgun and took pictures.
