Oil Preferences?

What's it doing?

The fleet stuff has had problems with knocking the main bearings out of um. I have one more oil change with the old delo left them I am going to rotella. I have to do a little more research but they have c1 and c4 and one is good the other is like delo's new crappy LE oil.
Amsoil is great just spendy. I won't go to amsoil until I fix a small leak. The synthetic has a tendency to leak worse if you have any leaks.:beer:

Did a oil change tonight. Just put in the new DELO untill I figure out what to change it too. Bought 3 gallons of the new and had one gallon of the old left from last time. Poored in the new first then the old and noticed the old is about twice as thick for the same weight oil.:wtf:
I'm not impressed!

just did a change myself.....couldn't find any of the old delo, and only could find the 'new' rotella stuff too.....so I'm running some old Delvac for this one until I figure what I'm going to do to.....need to find a reliable source for whatever I choose to stick w/...

FWIW the NAPA in south everett has 30 wt on the shelf, I just needed/wanted a multi weight.

first time i changed i my oil i used john deer oil out of my buddies lube truck. but after that i always use rotella. i just buy it in a 5 gallon jug. i run factory or wix fuel and oil filters

We ended up going with Rotella with a factory filter. Didn't want to deal with finding the "old" vs "new" Delo, too easy to just run to Wallyworld & get a big jug of Rotella.
