What do you guys use for looking at houses online? I've been using homesandland.com... Went to go look at a house on Sat. that my mom and I found and it looked like it wasn't on the market anymore and looked like it had a fresh coat of paint on it... wondering if there's a better site to look at?

You are better off to ask around and get recommendations on a good realtor to help you. They can help narrow your search down and save you a ton of time in the long run.

I get you to look at houses that are not yet out in the public eyes/websites.

I got mine after it was on the market 2 weeks! Didn't show up online while I was sending my realtor what I was looking for. Finalized it by week three. Granted closing took a bit longer since they needed to find a place to live and I didn't care, I was living for free.

got ya, I'm not in the market---just kinda "seein what's out there" ... killin time

... Been savin $$ for moving to CA, but by the time I reach my goal that would be a decent down payment on a house here locally. Really was suprised at how cheap things are here in town ...

Also, the more I look into the move back to California deal, the less appealing it is. My mom keeps saying I'll end up being someone's bitch editing there video the way they want and it's not going to be the kick ass gig I have sugar coated in my head.. I think she is probably right. I was all pumped to make it out that way but right now I'm unsure.. Good thing though, I can keep saving $$ and make my mind up later.


The reason the house stuff came up, I found a place just under 2 miles from my work in Lenexa.. detached 2 car, fully fenced in backyard w/ plenty of space for trailer and wheeler storage.. large lot for its location..for cheeep... just got me thinkin damn it wouldn't be a bad time to buy a house... my parents are kinda on the push to get me out into my own place anyhow...
