Passenger T-Bar?

I have one of those tube clams at house left over from a project and it fits perfectly on the main fame tube that runs centerline under the passenger seat.
I am going to add it, then make the handle removable off this with a pin. Should work well.

You don't need all that tube clamp mumbo jumbo. Just take a foot or so of 1.75, weld a small piece of tube with a 3/8's ID on the end, perpendicular to the big tube. Then hold it in the chop saw, and spit it, cut off about 3" of the 1.75 tube, and you have a tube clamp for about 75 cents. Then make a T out of 1.5" and 1", go to wally world and get some cheap mtb grips (the good ones are to small). If you feel the need to adjust it, get a quick release from a mtb seatpost.

Tube clamp works best for me seeing that my chassis is already powdercoated where I want to add this bar.

Besides, if I had wanted booty-fab I would have had you build it in the first place.

pepper.gif I was saving that one for Mike, but he never posts on here anymore so there, it's yours. AND, you know I am kidding. I love your work. ;D

Jim thats a kickass way to do it. The bike clamp would be tits. I had thought about welding mine straight to the chassis but went with the tubeclamp so I could take the whole damn thing off if it sucked or I didn't like it.

You idea is killer and easy to replicate. NICE TECH

My version. I Used 1.75" welded to the dash bar. The 1.5" for the t handle. Both .120, so the 1.5 fits snug in the 1.75 after some flap disk work, but no rattles or movement. Has various holes drilled so its adjustable, all the way in, its easy to climb in and out, then when you are in, slide it back towards you. Used a 3/8" tractor pin from the tractor pin store thumb.gif I.5" tubing was all I had, which is too big for Moto grips, so I weldered iin some ends from ballistic, but after paint its pretty damn smooth and not bad to hang on to.
