Sold some bike parts and send the guy my email addy. I messed up my addy and said 3bones and not 30bones so he sends $225 to the wrong guy, and he accepts it and still wants his parts shipped and me to call it a $250 mistake once you factor in shipping. Lesson learned and I will send out an invoice for larger sales.

Here is what the buyer sent me and I am finding it hard to believe paypal won't listen to his claim

Try emailing the address [email protected] and get them to turn the cash over to you. Paypal is not letting me dispute the charge due to it was a cash transfer. My credit card will not stop payment as it has already been processed and not a fraudulent transaction. Dudes name is Jireh Mak.

This transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *3BONES".

Looks to me you are in the clear, 3bones owes the dude $225 worth of product, no mater what product that is. I see nothing that says 30bones owes anyone anything. Credit card Company will fix it for dude if he was charged $225 and recieves no product. Dude may get a $250 pencil or something but thats his problem.

Another reason to by local in person!

it's a fraudulent transaction if the 3bones dude doesnt send your buyer the motorcycle parts he's paying for!! What a load of ****.

edit: err skimmed and didnt see where you said it was your fudge up.. Ya I'm with Wyatt.. Try working with the 3bones dude

Did he know your name, if so, it is his error.

Did you ask for a "cash" transaction, if not, then it is his fault.

If he did not know your name, and you requested a "cash" transaction to save on fees, then you owe him the parts.

Just my opinion, others may vary. Worth price paid.

Bones, its your fault IMO.

Shoot Jireh Mak an email and say you need him to forward on the funds that he knows he clearly recieved in error. I would send the dude the parts, unless you think its fine tarnishing your reputation in what ever venue you sold them to him in.

If Jireh Mak tells you to **** off, then lets start a ****ing Jihad on his ass. Like PBB style jihad, he'll get the idea and forward on the dough.

Already emailed 3bones and no response...which I expected. This was not on PBB, but a Bike site similar in size. Unsure there is any reason to post it there. The buyer is cool and said to do what I feel is right and he's not waiving the finger in my face to "send me parts or I will burn you on ADVrider!!"

I will likely eat this and move along even though it pisses me off (all my fault). All the parts are off the Triumph anyway which is in the scrapyard in the sky :'(

BTW that Chris "guy" is actually a girl. At least thats what I remember reading in one of the PBB Posts like this.

Looks like to me that the guy can file a paypal dispute against 3Bones if he never gets his parts, which 3Bones does not have to send. But in the end it was YOUR mistake and to make it right you probably should go ahead and send the parts as agreed, because he did in good faith make payment to the address you specified. But let him file a dispute with paypal and in the end you may get your money.

Not sure why not, if he does not get what he paid for he should be able to. And he should also be able to file a dispute with his CC company.

That's what I would do if it were me. Read the original post, he said his CC company would not file a claim

Yeah I know what it said, still do not understand why they would not let him file a claim. Something does not make sense. ???
