I resemble that remark. :flipoff1: I used 4WD again today. I R Xtreme

Actually there are reasons to bitch about them. There has not been an issue on time yet. And the writing is so small, I have a hard time reading it. Great pictures, that's about it.

I'm glad John said that! I thought I was the only one that couldn't see the writing...it's waaaaaaaaay too small and always blends in with the pictures. Great pics though! thumb.gif

The problem I had with the writing was that it blended in with the pictures. I did notice that in the last issue there were several pages where they purposely addressed that problem.

Crawl is still the best mag out there, they just need to get the business issues worked out.

As long as CRAWL thinks its cool to do a shitty job running their business they will get hated on every month. RIcky, your pictures help make that mag what it is. That said, content and delivery are very different. You can have the best content in the world but if you run your business shittly and the content does not land in the readers lamp when it should, what good is it? I will not renew mine, because it is pointless to be a subsciber. If anything they fawk you worse if you subscribe. It is a different excuse every issue, last month a fire at the printer, this month the economy. Same ****, diifferent month.

We've been saying that since day 1, 13 issues ago, or 15 is you count the 2 XOM's. When will they get it together? Its pretty much bullshit.
Yeah I still subscribe, but why, I have no idea. We all tend to not give money to businesses that don't do good business. Rock & Roll Offroad, USA6x6, and the list goes on. Why Crawl?

You can't boycott and crush the mag though, the staff is like rats, they'll bail ship, and show up in two months on a new one.

Ill re-up for one reason only...

RickyB needs a damn job laughing1

I think Tim is a bit arrogant and doesnt take his subscribers seriously enough to do the right things.
I get the impression that in his mind he thinks he has the "core" wheelers on lock and that simply isnt true. The "core" wheelers expect performance and delivery.. and Crawl isnt providing it as it should be by now. I dont even look forward or care when / if mine shows up Ive been disappointed enough that I can do with or without it .

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the content delay. The first few issues I got they were featuring rides that just happend like a month back. Which was cool, because the other mags have 3-4 month delay. The last few issues have been no better than the rest. I mean Ricky rode with me to shoot Jimbro's buggy in Sept and it has still not run 6 months later. What the fawk is up with that? :fish:

Does anybody subscribe to 4x4 builder? I bought an issue off the shelf over a year ago and it was awesome. I sent them my money in August and still haven't received an issue. They told me I wouldn't get one until Feb. I followed up yesterday and they said there wouldn't be a Feb issue. They went on to say that they are not printing a Feb, March, or April issue but that I'll get the May issue.

They make Crawl look flawless.

I did not re up when it was time. I just got tired of sitting around waiting on it. I am like P, if I see one great, if not so be it. The only reason I wound up even continuing to be remotely interested was because of Ricky. But the way they ass fawk him around I just said fugg em.

i got a renewed subscription for 2008, via an xmas present from teh wife....

i have mixed feelings about this...

one is that CRAWL is the best suited magazine with the tech and content that i desire at my level in this sport...

and

the other feeling is that i hate to have to wait so long just like the next guy...but [the dislike] of the wait just shows that i REALLY like this magazine (like all the other consumers who are waiting)....

do i like the extended time between issues or the slow production in 2008?. no and half of me wants to be pissed off, but the other half just lets it ride, simply b/c if you compare hard copy to hard copy, excluding all content, the crawl paper is nicer, looks nicer, feels nicer and you can just tell that it is NOT JP, DIRT SPORTS, or other MASS pruduced magazines....

i really appreciate the guys at crawl trying to make the best magazine out there, and if it takes a little longer to get here, i know that it will be worth the wait.....

Oh, and even though I did not re up I have still been getting the magazine. molaugh

And John and Greg, the print is not small, yall are just OLD :flipoff1:
