Cavey will get the hang of it soon.
You think so? Call me :indianajones: but this has been going on for years, and two magazines. If hes going to catch on it shoulda happened by now.
You'd think the reprecussions of one magazine getting driven in the ground and all blame placed on everyone around Cavey by Cavey would be a tell tale. I'm not saying he's the sole perp. here, just saying look at the facts as the whole world sees them.
XOM everyone sings the praises,"Best Mag eva!" Had deadline issues, went belly up in a widely publisized implosion mainly telegraphed to the masses by Cavey.
Crawl rises like a phoenix from the still smoldering ashes of XOM with most of the same staff. The masses once again hail "Best Mag eva'!" The new mag has deadline issues, now compounded by delivery issues. All of which are manageable with clear communication to their readership. However in the fame of XOM, and now Crawl, Cavey continues with the bullshit to the Crawl readership.
I hail Crawl as the best mag currently out there, but aside from the mag once it gets in my hand everything else sucks. I could have bought the current issue of the rack 2 weeks before it finally hit my mailbox. I didn't, I waited for MY copy.
Cavey, what incentive does the Average Joe have to subscribe to Crawl vs. picking up at the newsstand? I know that by subscribing I am directly supporting the offroad community, but the Average Joe that isn't as "IN TO" this ****??? Wheres the hook?
I'm all but through with Crawl as a subscriber. I dont even wait for it anymore or rush home to check the mailbox. Zero anticipation nor care for the next issue. Glad to have it when it comes. I'll lift it at the grocery store at least then I know when its coming.
