Thank you, and yes we were told the same thing while there. that is why there have been several edited posts in this thread and why the "exact" location was left ambigiuous with "Monteagle, TN " Fact is none of us from the Hardline Crawlers knew were we were headed outside of " Monteagle, TN "

Like most places there are places you can go, shouldnt go, and cannot go. We had folks guide us and respected them for being there for us to see some special areas that are not open for everyone to ride. The club does not and will not condone riding illegally. We crossed no closed gates, fences or any other obstruction likewise and ran into a group of Toyota's that were riding the area as well as ATV riders. I dont know particulars of the area, and honestly dont really need to since everyone I have spoke too has said Monteagle is not to be ridden unless you know somebody or have guides. I think most everyone in our area of Alabama myself included just know that its " closed to public access"

Im very thankful we got the priviledge to ride there, its a beautiful place and the wheeling is really really great ! I had heard, read about seen pictures of and even have a VHS tape of wheeling in Monteagle from when I lived in Ks years ago. It was always one of those places that I said " Id love to wheel " So again thank you for having us !!

There are several places around here that are private. When someone ask me about if they are open or not, I always say closed unless I know them. Then if I can get permission to take them there I try and do so. One place that we go here almost got close completely because of people that would ride with people that had permission then show up a few months later with some friends and ride without even asking the owner as they drove by his front door. So thats why I always say its closed unless I have permission myself. The problem with Monteagle is some of it is open to the public and other places are private or land leases. But there is a local club up there that will show you around, all you have to do is ask :flipgotcha: By the way that club DOES NOT have permission to ride where ya'll went. we would have to get a guide ourselves.

nobody asked you if we could ride there :flipgotcha: and my name doesnt need to be in any of your posts ever.no i dont like riding up there but i do like the damn locals but how can you be a local when you live in manchester. you are always posting on something has nothing to do with you .you need to mind your own buisness before someone minds yours :flipoff1:

Travler, I can post where I want. If you dont like it then dont read it :flipoff1:. All I did was make a comment on something you said about riding up there. I never said you did not like the Damn Locals :dunno:. Hell even you can be a DL thumb.gif. We have members from as far away as Huntsville AL. Not back to the post and riding pictures. :drinkers:

its my family property and there is only about 10 people that have the right to be there, but we take people that we know and invite them to ride or people that we have meet up there and offer them to ride with us.the problem is that the people that rode with us take people up there and ride.i wish it was mine and i would let everyone ride but its not.all the pic are on private land not public, billcow does not have permission but he has rode with us and he is a nice guy.i thank alot of people get confused with that place about what is private or public.there is alot of people that have rode the Mont.for years with out a problem, most land owners never said a word but know getting upset, please be carefully.

I guess that clears all that up. I apologize if any of our riding up there upset you or your family, certainly was not any ones intentions !!! We did appreciate the ability to ride there and our group doesnt trash and respects any place we get to ride. Like I said earlier, we ran into a group of 3 yota's out there and saw some ATV riders . I dont know if they came in the way we did or not but a gate across the road in would solve that entrance issue 100%. thumb.gif Again, sorry if we intruded that wasnt the intentions at all.

its not your fault and a gate they would tear it down, we just got to be carefully with pic, people will see them and try to go there and ride, nobody got upset i wish the pic could be delete,by the way nice pic.but anytime you want to ride give me a call 931-308-4181 josh, delete this post after you read it please.

Damn this topic is more trouble than it is worth. I just moved it here because I am tired of moderating it..

Wow, what excitement!!! Sorry we didn't get pictures at Coppinger's Cove to show it wasn't all bad.
