Picked up my first MTB

Easton's are great, as is that price.

I have brutalized my Easton DH carbon bars for years now ( I am rough on stuff, 250lbs and all) without a hint of damage or breakage.

Good company and product.

you weigh 250? i might be able to keep up :haha:

So far, I am ok with them. I got them 2" wider than my stocker set. The idea was to be able to play with hand position, get better cranking power, etc. Turns out, moving my hands an inch out puts them in the wind quite a bit more, and my arms get colder. (I ride 9 miles to work at 3am). I think the cold arms are a sacrifice I am willing to take for the greater good. So far, I have cut my 50 minute commute down to 30-35 minutes depending on how hard I push.

Now, to figure out what to upgrade next. I know I am going to get a rack for my pack, I am tired of my back being sweaty on nice days like this, but that is not a fun upgrade.
