Pics kinda suck, Lay and I at the dragstrip

Had a fun Saturday, Lay rolled his rig on hosepipe. Landed upside down slide back down most the obstacle then flopped onto its side. So we washed it off and loaded up to hit the Bama Speedway midnight madness run what you brung.

I still havent done exhaust so mine was basically open header laughing1 LOUD I could get him except when I tried low range, nice doesnt have enough gear to get to the halfway point in the track in low range but Lays worked better in low. It was fun, we ran them 3 or 4 times hell I cant even recall we had a blast!

His is going to FLY with the 6.0L in it drool

We were both pretty consistant with the high elevens low 12 range. laughing1

I couldn't even imagine mine with 44 inch belly bouncers going that fast. When they say, "that track couldn't hold my rig", they were talking about me. Friggin Stevie Wonder wandering all over the place. Any pics of the pre run burnouts?

When I pulled up there was a 80 ish Honda Accord on the line. When it went past I could tell there was a car load. They came around and parked close to me and when they got out of the car there was 4 girls and a baby in a car seat. I can honestly say I have never seen that at a dragstrip not even back in the street racing days.

I've ran mine up to low 70's with TomTom , front driveline was vibing pretty bad and I was in my neighborhood though laughing1

I have been wanting to run mine but with my current Orbital I can't keep it in a straight line that long. If I get a chance to swap orbitals this week I will run it Thursday night.

Nice! I've been tryin to talk Travis and Mark into runnin the crawlers down the strip for a couple years now just for shits and giggles. I'm bettin I can talk Sam into it knowing Will has done it now. I usually run the tow rig but now with the comp box I'm honestly too scared to do a 4wd launch with a manual on pavement.
