I know, led lights are the only way to go. I see its on salt, and I always like the no border on a liner pool. Looks good man!

What are you thoughts and feelings on the "carport" style garage? after building one?
i was gonna buy a carport style barn in a 30x50 and the estimate with insulation was around 22k I called a guy who builds pole barns and he quoted me 19.5k for same size So if your trying to go the cheap route like I was, call around and get estimates

This is my second 30x40 built this way, first shop was built 15+ years ago, never had any issues. The buildings I have had use 2x4 tubing for the trusses and walls. Many carports style building use a smaller tubing but i am unsure of the exact size (maybe 2x3). I am really happy with mine or I wouldnt have got a second shop built the same way. 2 days to completely install with my pad.

A few updated pictures. Getting garage doors ordered monday. Insulation guy in a week or so. Ready to cut the A/C in the garage on :drinkers:

I ran hot and cold water to the inside front right corner of garage. I plan on putting a pressure washer there with the wand/hose on a automatic reel. Anybody have any ideas on a non-$1000 electric pressure washer that puts out 3+ GPM at decent pressure? I can run a gas unit and pipe the exhaust through the wall but electric would be much simpler. Can be floor/wall mount.

Why so long before he can start the pad? Just backed up on work, or can't get the concrete, etc.? I'm really curious, how much does concrete go for per yd up there?

up here we build the building and then pour the concrete. The builder is really busy, he's bumping me ahead of a few people cause I've had so long to wait on my excavation. He booked up into October, he's the best guy in my area. Last I called on concrete it was around 135 a yard
