Plastic Air Tanks

As for plastic air tanks, we have a few in the navy but they are all low PSI (navy talk LPAIR = Less than 120psi) We use them all the time but they are made to military standards.

In my rig I took a used fire bottle to work and had some fittings TIG welded onto it, then had the boys at work hydrostatcially test it to 1000psi (just for fun, of course). That is the air tank on my rig.

The plastics I have seen run A LOT but only in MIL-SPEC operations.
