Oh, and rent a rig for back door to rip the rear end out of. ;-)

Hey that is my patented move. :driving:

I love how everyone is telling Richie what he should do. In order to make a name for yourself in this sport you have to be willing to do something different. You show up at KOH in a U4 buggy finish the race and they could all care less because you are a rock bouncer in a U4 car. Now a recognizable Bouncer (plowboy) finishing the race is Marketing Gold! Did you see the live feed last year during the race? There was a FAQ section just for Plowboy fans! We will do our best to follow and support the plowboy team and get better coverage this year. KOH just isnt an easy place to video. We are taking donations for helicopter rental though then we could follow them the entire race! :dblthumb:

Thanks to WOD for taking the challenge of getting buggy ready for KOH and when get home I will race it more this season on tracks that doesn't need lots of HP. Adam and I are not throwing rocks at anyone, we are just trying to upgrade it so Brandon Dillion and I can finish the KOH. I never thought I would be competitive with the legends of KOH, so lets learn together how to make buggys better and safer. OH I forgot our new buggy will be at KOH to run the buggy challenge and I think WOD has built a buggy that NOBODY to date has come even close to fabricating. I also want to thank Bryan Cole for the time he spent in the beginning helping me. I know haters are gonna hate but the new buggy has a motor in it that will blow my first buggy away.

can I have the previous motor? flashemifyougotem just kiddin

good luck with the rebuild. it was a badass buggy to begin with and will be interesting to watch unfold. :dblthumb:

Current update:

While not everything is cut off yet, we are already looking at going together with things like the suspension mounts. We were only able to reuse the rear lower link mounts on the chassis.

Rear mounted radiator to replace the front mounted radiator it had

Wheelbase will be stretched about 4" total

Link brackets are braced significantly

Any concern with the radiator getting enough air flow with it setting that low? Just curious, trying to learn! Really cool to see the different approach this time around!

the front links are gonna be a lot better than before. looks like they going to be more level. keep up the good work and thanks for posting more pics of the rebuild!!! thumb.gif

The radiator is actually just laying there. It will set up and down a lot more when its in its final position.

That makes a bit more sense.

Do you plan on plating the upper link tabs? They seem kinda thin considering the abuse this rig takes?

Everything is just tacked in place, believe me everything will be reinforced.

We are using 1/4" thick material. The buggy had 3/8 on it before in a few places and 1/4" in other places. 1/4" will be plenty if the mount is supported right and the bolts are tight.
