No I'm looking basically to make poly bushings. Right now I have some Black RTV drying. Hopefully I got all the bubbles out otherwise I just wasted a $14 can of it.

I made "poly" bushings for the shocks I put on my Toyota bed trailer. Used the 50 year clear stuff. They have held up for almost 2 years. Coated the mounting post & bushing washer & bolt with a small amount of olive oil. They poly didn't stick to that portion. Don't know how it would hold up to wheeling though. It also took 4 days to dry.

x2 and there is so much movement on the long side that nothing will last for more than one trip anyway. You would have to make a smooth surface on the shaft as well.

I'm just trying something out, so chill out. Those cost more than what I have into these. If mine fail nothing is going to get hurt. Its just a random experiment. I knew you guys would be....."you dont need them" I know you dont need them, but I'm just trying something.
