Very interesting product. I think this will work well for what Jon described, and it's not that much $$.

If it doesn't work perfectly, you'll get crap in your tubes that can't easily get out. It could make any contamination issue much worse. You don't want your axles shafts to live in 1/2" of swamp water and mud and your inner axle seals could have a very short lifespan.
