I avoid powdercoating like the plague.
So many folks are in love with it. Send out every nut and bolt and bracket to get powdercoated.
**** that. I cant touch it up. I cant remove it. Its expensive. It peels off in huge chunks eventually. If it chips, it in chunks, not scratches.
Ive seen guys even powdercoat bumpers and sliders. Boy do those look great with a few scrapes down the side.
I hope this thread is a wake up call to those that ,buy, beat, destroy and rebuild. Powdercoating is neat and all, but it is NOT user friendly or removable/rebuildable either.
I love my easy to use/repair PAINT. MAn its cheap too.
