Price of Tube for Square shaft?

What's everyone paying per foot for 2.5x2.5x.25 receiver tube and 2x2x.25 square? Finally got my front gears in and I'm itching to get to work on a shaft.

That shiat is very pricey. Last I heard it was like close to $20 a foot awhile back.

just get regular tube and grind a notch for the seam, I built mine out of 2"x.25" and 1.5"x.25" and never had a problem with it.

it coasts me 17 dollard for both 2x2 and 2.5x2.5 and took about 10 mintes to make works great

What about regular 2.5x.25 and 2x.25?
