project "What the hell did I get myself into"

Well I made progress (although i am still tearing it down) I have the front almost apart and I will find out tomorrow when half the needed parts will be ready :clappy:

But I left the camera cord, to plug into the PC, at home so you will have to wait for more pic's. :kissmyass:

Wow, you jumped in feet first huh? LOL

Does this mean you want your parts sooner than later? :flipoff:

Too many parts at once will OD me... you will need to string me out a little... keep me coming back for more:weed:

I have been working the front cage. It's coming along slowly.

Well I think I have done, what I can, until I get some parts...

I cleaned up the front end, a sawzall and a grinder are your friend not food.:haha:

I started to build a hoop in the front to mount the coil overs but with out the shocks I don't want to do any more

I cut out the plate to weld to the frame but I don't think it is large enough...

what made you deside to go with coil overs vs. air shocks? also how'd you figure out what rate springs to get?

air shocks sound like more maintnance and more specialized wheeling (they may not be) and I am leaning heavily on others experence.

Coilovers are definately the way to go for a trail rig.
