Proud Dads

So proud of my son when he ran lower rock garden at Harlan on his 9th birthday.

He has ran black trails with me for the part year or two, rarely does he get nervous or freak out.

Kids Need to get dirty and they need to work. Helps their immune system and teaches what it takes to make it out there.

Only two at the time but regularly wants to help dad work on the buggy or go pull weeds. Just got through tilling the yard and planting a patch of grass. He was excited about it for at least a week. Now every day we go check and see how much its growing and water it. Hoping he will learn that work can be fun and pays off. And even if it isn't fun and doesn't pay off sometimes you still gotta do it because it needs to get done.

When she finds out she gets to go ridin

Ahhh yea. Been a long time waiting to post in here. I couldn't be more proud of this dude. Everything he's been through and he's taking it like a champ. One day at a time!

The only tricks he knows right now is "stay" and "poop/pee all over dad during diaper change".

Re:

I threw my back out Sunday. Finally got out of bed this evening. My three year old boy tells me not to push the walls down. In his little eyes I am still strong, though the most vulnerable I probably have ever been in his life. Little things, fellas. Little things

The boy was stirring around the other day and wouldn't settle down. Turned on Metallica radio on pandora and he's out like a light.

How are things going? I'm sure it's different around the house to say the least lol.

Going great man. It's definitely different. But like clockwork he falls asleep at 10pm and generally sleeps 4-6 hours without a peep. He still doesn't really scream or cry. He fusses every once and a while. But overall, I can't complain.

The wife took him to do his "newborn" pictures as soon as we got back to TN. Some turned out good...some involved him looking pissed off in a bear hat.

Lol. Great times man. Snap of the fingers and he'll be walking and talking. It goes by so fast. I'm glad everyone is healthy man.

When is my lamp gonna show up?

I'd like to say it got lost in the mail, but that would mean I shipped it. And I did not.... haha

Sent you a text.

Wish it were easier to post pics anymore, I'm too lazy to tapatalk, can't PB and haven't moved **** somewhere else.
Shourt course race last weekend was at more of a flat track venue with some jumps thrown in. Trophy carts didn't race, so we made a class for the kids in 170's. It was fantastic. The boy was the youngest (8), his buddy is a year and a half older and the 2 girls were each 12. Mine was aggressive and sticking a nose in wherever he could. Got good passes and moved up front in both heats. He then started first in the feature and put a half a lap on everyone else. His friend was a little meek after getting tied up with my boy in one of the heats and hung back until the last lap and got second. The girls literally crashed each other and he went around laughing1. Good **** though, wet track, sliding it in sideways and steering out with good throttle control. Even backing it in to a 180 corner when it was all wet up and not lifting. Proud dad moment

Very grateful for my kids, I am beyond Blessed. They love to work in the shop with Dad, working on their toys while I work on mine . Love to ride and be outdoors, My lil man keeps trying to trade his 170 for my dad's tracker. He loves that thing
