Quality auto tranny rebuild kit?

well, seeing that I will be commuting from Bonney Lake to Everett every day soon. I am in need of freeway speeds :redneck:

No your not. You'll be doing 35mph in traffic:fawkdancesmiley: If you go aw4 route I have one in the garage that needs a rebuild. Yours free:redneck:
 
42RE SUCKS the power from the 4.0L! If you try a '93 with AW4, you'll see what I mean. They were stupid trying to save money by doing the trans inhouse because the 42RE is far weaker than AW4 too!

What the hell am I going to do with two bad 42RE's? :haha:
 
Use XJ parts (nuts, bolts, flexplate, but crank sensor should be the same. If not, the XJ one '91 up should work)

You need an early '93 ZJ trans mount to make it work.
