Maybe professional means licensed? Never looked into the trade of chimney sweeping. Figured you jus bought one of those odd logs and tossed it in once a month / let it burn. I do wonder why all the chimney sweep ad's have them wearing a top hat.

Unless said hat is like an Inspector Gadget hat with tools and such hidden inside?
