U1000 is a Controller Area Network CAN code, it means there is a problem with a control module not talking to the ECM, ABS, or other module. Or a module is basically jamming the signal (message) being sent on the network.
C1132 is actually an ABS code that will turn on the check engine light, basically saying it is not receiving a certain signal from the ECM
Several things will cause these codes in that car, coins on the shelf under the navigation unit will fall down on the unified meter and short it out, Intelligent Power Distribution Module acting the fool, the other thing that will cause the C code is if the car stalls due to a bad crank sensor or has a cam sensor (all 3 of these fail constantly on this engine) that doesn't send a signal intermittently, maybe, possibly, kinda doubt it, but may cause the U1000 as well because the ABS has to see the engine speed, so if a crank/cam sensor stops working, the ABS module thinks it has a CAN issue because it isn't seeing that signal.
I don't miss having to chase and diag these codes daily anymore.
