few years back tony had the Monopoly on private park/extreme ofroad specific venues..

Now with all the other parks stepping up to the plate and putting a legitimate effort in bringing amenities as well as a fair price to the sport I can't see where Tony is goin to be in business very much longer.

I know there will always be the faithfuls, Hell I used to and still do like the place, but the "Bang for the buck" ratio is def suffering...

haha i know, just talkin ****...

But seriously.

Ive felt taken advantage of in non-sexual ways the last few times at GR... :'(

and lets not get started on the Myra nazi wagon... :drinkers: :indianajones:

She don't like nite ridin around camp that is for shure.

I have more fun going to Pigsby or Gooseneck just cause you don't have all the worries of gettin bitch out for small things that really don't mean anything.

I've been twice in the past month, both private rides. I paid $30 for the first one(1 day) and $75 (1day) last weekend. I'm not
poor but $75 is too much for one day were the trails need to be maintained. The rain washes and ruts are out of control, if I
had anything less than a buggy I'd be pissed. The holes on most trails need to be addressed as well as the run in to cable
hill, smooth that bitch out so it can be proper ****ed. Bath houses should have happeened YEARS ago. :flipgotcha:
Won't be back for a while, too many other options.

Matlock

agree 100%

grayrock isnt the peas and carrots of O.R. parks anymore. Too many options and those options have very eager owners that are willing to work with us.

It's funny that a former board regular said these exact same things a year ago and everybody got pissed about him bashing gray rock :****:

I am not starting ****, just funny to see how things change.

my opinon hasn't really changed...
I always loved Gray rock and still like to ride the place..

But even in the past year it has got worse and worse...
Wheres the beating a dead horse smilie...

I've always liked it because it was local to me. There arent really any trails its just and obstacle park.

Either way Im a sucker for convienence , but not so much when I feel suckered outta my money for it.

Few old Pictures from the first time I ever went to GrayRock.

Damn I wish that waterfall was still there in the background.

I gotta agree, use to be wheelers paradise. Lost alot of it's curbside appeal, still like it. Just not as much as the good ole days. Never tried the waterfall, did not have the rig to do it. :driving:

I used to enjoy going there, back then. When I first started going to GR the pond in the first pic wasnt there. If I remember correctly (in 2004).?

Yep, I remember going and it looking just like those pics. The waterfall was cool as hell. Now it is a wasteland back there.
