RCV shaft removal

Finally got the broken shaft out. I was hoping there was a trick,if there is i did not find it. I ended up welding a rod to it. Chain it to the floor pulled with a 6000 lb fork lift and it would not come out. Finally i welded a 1 3/4 rod to the other rod ,put it in a 4" pipe and rammed it up and down for at least 30 minutes. Finally came out. The splines are perfectly straight.
