a clutch kit includes new clutches and steels for the LS its something you can probably do yourself but I'm not sure what kind of equipment/know how you have.
thanks puo, I think im gonna bring my carrier upto randys ring & pinion tomrorow to have them take a look at it and replace any parts neccessary. gotta call in the morning first to see if they even have the parts.
I do not have a lot of experience with rear ends so i would like to make sure it things get done properly.
