Youve seen "those" people too eh?

Seen?? Shiat I almost thought I was turning into one... Now the truck is back better than ever so bring on the wheeling. :D

Brian you're rig isn't THAT long as to make it impossible to wheel... You just have to get used to it and that comes only with seat time. After having my junk so long and having yota axles that were too narrow to allow big tires to turn worth a crap I am super stoked to have a 60 not only for it's strength but the width and turning ability. Take it out and wheel it for a couple months and if you think you need rear steer then I honestly doubt there will be half the people saying you don't need it. Just get cutting brakes and have fun for awhile.

There is people up here building their Dream trucks for the last 10 years, by the time they get anywhere the stuff they were doing was/is so outdated they'd tear it apart, sell the old parts without even wheeling it and start again :looser: On going cycle. The few that do finally have gone out wheeling realize the stuff they've taken 5 years to build is crap compared to the new stuff out there, they end going back home and hiding it in their garage to never be seen again. :eeek:

X2 wheel it get used to it then change it if you think it needs it.

Advice taken. Im going to fix it for now and beat it. When its done Im just going to take the step up and buy a chassis from S&N.

If you want to drive a rig with rear steer you are more than welcome to drive mine around just as a feel. To some it might not be as cool and or as nice as some rigs but its great for me. offers there

Brians rig is pretty badass he had some problems on its first outing all he needs to do is fix a few things and wheel the hell out of it...Remodel it this winter:cool:

I agree.
Not saying you shouldnt do it later but. Dont be down on your rig
cause it broke, I mean come on, its maiden run was The Hammers.
Thats one hell of a place to get her feet wet......

Uhhhh...taking a rig all the way to the Hammers for a shake down run is not smart.

I took it down thre with intentions of wheelin.I had also planned for a few years to take something of my own down there..... i did finally. I thought i built it good enough to wheel the trails and found out quickly that it wasnt ready. So yes it played on some simple stuff and used it to drive around instead of walking. I needed a vacation and that exactly what i got. Regardless of how much wheelin i got in i still got away from the stress I am going through at home. I worked pit for Joey Archaletta and Larry Gipson during the race and hung out with alot of cool people. It wasnt a wasted trip in my eyes. :awesomework:

What if he came down to spectate. With his rig?

Why would you tow a rig all the way to the hammers to spectate?

I know wheelin ain't rocket science but that sounds even less than stupid

Bunk is just trying to pick at me so dont listen to him....he doesnt know ****.Besides.... whatever i do with my time is my deal not any of yours. If i like to build more than wheel....oh well....or if im never happy with what i build so i start over.....oh well......If it makes me happy and keeps me busy who gives a ****.:kissmyass:

If you'll remember..other than a couple hours out at reiter thats exactly what I/we did:rolleyes:.......And it worked out pretty sweet:011::011:

I worked on it in the trails a little bit and EVERY night in the hotel parking lot but overall it worked out pretty good:FIREdevil:

EXACTLY!!! Friggin MORONS GOING OUT WITH AN UNTESTED RIG! At least I took mine 1200 miles to take it on a 100 plus mile shakdown run. :flipoff: :redneck:

:fawkdancesmiley:

Is that why you waited soooo long to wheel with me? You wanted to make sure my RS worked without breaking?

:redneck:

Probibly.. and to make sure you where not some A$$ fag that he would have to spend all day winching or towing out. :fawkdancesmiley:Dont feel bad Muney.... I did the same to him! :haha:
