Reason I've been scarce

she got not better today. the surgeon said before the surgery that she should have her arm back within the hour after surgery. now its over a day later and she still has nothing. no feeling, no movement in the upper part of her arm. the pain is getting worse and she has been on oxygen since the surgery (should have been off within the hour.) she is staying another night. also her blood pressure is in the 60 range on the low side. way low. she's just fawked up and wants to be home. Looks like no Paul time for me this weekend. I just don't want her to hurt anymore.

Damn Kelly.....I really hate to hear that......I'm not sure I've got any pull with the man upstairs but I'll give it a try....you guys hang in there and I know we'll be seeing some improvements soon!

well I spent most of the night with her last night and missed paul's stupidity. she is still in pain. they have taken her off the morphine and oxygen trying to get it manageable so she can go home. I am heading up there right now. I set up wheelin at my cousin's house and now can't make it to go play. hopefully we get her home this afternoon and can get her comfortable so I can go out and play. we will see.
plan is to get her home so fingers crossed.

okay, we got her home. she's still constipated as hell, and that's the reason they kept her all morning. hasn't gone in 5 days because of the morphine and other narcotics. she was in a horrible shitty mood and wasn't diggin the idea of an enema, but I talked the doc into making her do it. he came in and told her it was happening, and it did. she still didn't get a bunch done and lied and said she did to get out of there. she was going ****ing crazy. she's in her bed and resting comfortably. I put her to sleep after giving her a very unsexy bath (can the honeymoon be over before it starts?) and washing her hair and stuff. I think she's good while I go and see paul and miles and bones and those fuggers. Aight, prayers are paying off. keep them up, she is pulling on this. matter of fact, pray for poop. that'd help a lot :spin:

Kelly, you really find out alot about who you are, and how you really feel about the person you are with when you go through what you guys are going through. You find its not all glamour, and sex. Having to bathe your significant other isn't fun. but just think if the tables were reversed. It'd be nice to have somone bathe your ass huh?
Stick with her, she's a good chick, and you are definately proving to her that you are her man.

yeah, she goes from "I love you so much you do so much for me" to "leave me the **** alone, I just wanna lay here" because she's a woman, but she's horribly independent from her divorce and does the whole "I can do it myself" pride thing. it just takes patience.
yep, we're good. I would be happy if she bathed my ass for me (hell, I might like it) :flipoff1:
