Rebuild my Warn M8000?

The biggest issue with the winches that I have found is that the ground connection gets dirty and builds up too much resistance. Clean it and apply a little dialectric grease.

i believe that is one other problem the winch has, i seeen sparks from the ground wire while i was winching. Had sparks once befoe durring hunting season but quit and did not do it again.

Found the problem with the "winch", no not the "witch" the "winch".
One of the wires going to the controll plug was broken, so i resoldered it to the terminal, cleaned up all the contact point and works pretty good.
