Recommend me a tarp that doesn't suck

I used a giant tarp one year when I hauled to K2. It was a 50x50. Stinkin huge so I could double it up.

It rained for 5hrs 100% of the trip.

When I uncovered my rig, the tarp had wind beaten my brand new chassis skins. They are permanently discolored and hazy. :(

My tj rode from Cleveland tn to Rausch Creek a few years ago in the rain most of the way. I say rain but more than once we were doing less than 20mph on the free way. I took my bikini top off the jeep because I didn't want it to rip off going down the free way. the only thing that got messed up was my radio and that's was because it slid out of the dash about 2 inches (had a wreck in the jeep and it broke the clips that hold it in). A damp ass the first day and the rest was good. If you got marine connectors and heat shrink you should be good i'd think.

you should be fine electronically.

I haul my buggy in the rain all the time and never had any electrical issues - I pressure wash it after trips too with no care to where i spray water

if you wired it right (you did) then youll be fine. Like others said... load up and roll!

I have in the past however taken a thick tarp folded it over a few times and covered the seats only - one tarp per seat, with it all tucked in nice behind and around the seats. Add a strap or bungee if its loose at all. I dont like a wet ass...and this usually keeps them dry and the tarp is thick, tight, and small enough only on the seats to not flap around if you secure it. If water still gets through, I just lay a trash bag in the seat and go wheeling. Its usually dry by the end of day 1.

Ive got a turret tarp for an Abrahms tank, it covers my entire 55 Willys wagon front to back and down the sides... weighs a **** ton, will never rip, its totally rad. I have zero suggests on how to get one tho :flipoff1:
