Reiter Going-on's

....it is a bargain for the state and wheelers could build the trails...

In the current "environment", are you sure that could be done? And if it could be done, wouldn't we be?

There are a narrow set of restraints we have to fight within. What gives us the biggest bang for our buck (efforts) may not be the logical solution or the solution of the past.

Bottom line: if we don't find a way to fund ORV parks in a self-sustaining manner, (Washington State Access Pass:hi:) the outcome will be exactly as the conspiracy-theory naw-sayers ellege.........You're ****ed.

Getting back the NOVA funds is going to be the deal maker or breaker. No the NOVA funds alone won't fund everything but if we don't get them back there will be nobody who trusts the state and the whole thing will be done.:corn:

I don't think you are alone on that.

I hate to be that guy that thinks he is a know it all.....but hey maybe I do:eeek:

In my opinion there should be sponcered clubs building and maintaining trails, not parks....it is a bargain for the state and wheelers could build the trails...

Jakob had a good point on this that I would like to steal and submit as my own... O wait...:redneck:

Anyways, the point was when is it easier for people to build trails rather than go somewhere else. I look at it like this, the guys in the northsound can go to Walker and to Canada, central can go to Ellensburg area or south, and the south sounders can do what they always do.

My point being is, people (at least it seems) would rather travel and wheel or get out of the sport.

Just my $0.02

Yes. And thank God we're finally breaking away from that. The 2 new Board of Director's will further promote a change in RTW as a whole.
