Reiter in June?

The problem with that is there is no elsewhere.

On opening day, what if ten, twenty, fifty wheelers parked their tow rigs and trailers at the main gravel pit, all caravaned together (on Reiter Rd) to the rock garden and area, and wheeled in the new designated areas?

What if....:;

I don't know. Could be 50 parking tickets......50 trespass tickets/ arests......50 impounds......Guess it depends on how they choose to handle it.:;

If I lived on Reiter road, I would be out there on weekends selling parking spots in my yard. I'd Rent garage space by the hour for broken rigs, possibly even sell hotdogs, and pop.:awesomework:

I'm sure I have two rigs that will be well suited for the new Reiter. My WRX for cruising the logging roads and the bone stock XJ with street tires to hit the hardcore trails that will remain. :booo:

I will but they need to change the name to something else because it won't be reiter any more. Maybe reiter light.

yes we will be there, but the question is, are people goin to stay on the trails that they provide to keep it open??

As much as we all love to trail blaze :cool:

Remember this: Critical Mass. Hundreds of tickets are issued, and each one gets challenged, DNR will drop them because of the weeks needed to spend in court.

We need critical mass so that DNR will change their mind regarding policy rather than fighting us. Busting 5 or 10 people for disobeying the law is easy, but 100 or 200 people would require playing politics.

Yes. I'll be there.

And a reason for DNR to call Reiter a failure and for the environmentalists to push legislation to outlaw ORV use.

Sadly, illegal use isn't about renegades anymore, its about revolting against the bad policies this state has set towards ORV use.

I encourage everyone to read this over and over, remember it, understand it and realize it.

:awesomework:

Japerry is making sense. I'm all about rebellion to tyrants, but has the trail of abuses been long enough to justify such actions? The shots been heard around the N.W.
But around the world??

True but there are 2 sides to this. The organized side and the non organized and your talking one of the most un-organized hobbies/sports out there.

I like to say we are the usergroup with the most need for better organization. Sounds better......:awesomework:

And there are different stances and positions to chose......if you don't like being on the bottom:5bitch:maybe you'll try the top.

count me in!!!! imgonna start working in the next two weeks!!! so i will be able to fix my junk,and yes it is time to take back our land...so if it is open,and small we flood it!!!if they see that it is overwhelming then they will have to do something.. when i was at walker kim had mentioned all the extra use at walker now,and how its changing things so quick....dnr is coming to a point where stuff has got to change..

another quick question how come motorcycle riders get away with illegal trails easier then we do?
on the way to walker there is a clear cut .gated closed. that four years ago might have a bike rider or two. now you can barely drive up hwy9 in that area because so many are parking all over on the side of 9..i counted probably twenty rigs with trailers a couple weekends ago,how can they be doing this and nothing being done? why cant i just show up there in my 4x4 and start making trails? or can i? could i have a bad ass wheelin spot for a couple years?or is it that like stated before the numbers are big so they just dont know how to handle whats going on in this spot?
