beat on it with a hammer a bit, maybe some wd if they are being dificult...I use a 90 degree snap ring pliars...the straight ones can be a pain
Yah the straight ones don't work at all, so I went and got some Klein 90 degree ones.
What sucked was the caps were so entrenched after pulling the clips, I used the ball joint puller to move the ujoint from one end to another (once the clips were loose). Then sprayed WD40 in the hole, as well as pumped grease into the cap until it spit out the other side. Put the ball joint puller the other way, and basically kept going from one side to another until I could pull out the caps.
They eventually came out, but it took a good hour to get each side loose. Looks like the bushings are toast. So are some O-rings after I was done with them :redneck:
