Replacing oils... suggestions

I tried to run redline manual tranny oil (80-90).. the same week my tranny-t-case seal failed.. I am now anti redline.

BUT.. i know lots of people that run it and have had great luck.. its just too damn expensive.

ahh okay so now I'm pretty confused, since someone in earlier in the thread recommended only having two or three oils so you don't have to carry so much different stuff.
something on the lines of ATF in Tranny/Tcase/PS, 90W in Axles, Non-synth reg oil for engine

So this is what I'm thinking:
Redline Synthetic ATF (Dextron III) for the 700r4 and PS
Redline MT-90 for Tcase or would ATF work here?
Cheapo GL5 or maybe MT-90 for Axles.

Run Synthetic ATF (dex3) in the trans, transfer case and power steering. It is compatible with all three.

That way you can just buy a case of 12 it's sometimes a better deal that way too.

sweet. yes I'm looking at the gallon deals as well. definitely more expensive, most I'm finding are 38-40 for 1 gallon.

So that leads me to the next question... whos the best/cheapest source? anyone have a good link locally?

Not sure that ATF is such a good idea in Yota cases Jakob...better do some more research before you pull that trigger... And the trans will take over 12 by itself if you flush the converter/lines/cooler to get all the old ATF out...
