This video starts off in Central Oklahoma at the farm of Brad Austin.
This section centers around Brad and his family in their huge Heeps and a couple of full size Chevy Truck "Buggy's"
LOTS of mutliple Rancho 5000's mounted at a 45* angle on the rear and leaf spring action on the front. Plenty of throttle-down action with quite a few rolls.
Brad's kid brother (who also looks like he just left a concentration camp) rolls 3-4 times on one hill and every time he spills his ****ing beer cans and cooler all over the place. They put it all back in the buggy thing, refusing to strap it down and he has a yard sale AGAIN
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Coolness of Rig's (Average) - 4 out of 10...up from 3 because Brad's rig has coilovers
Rig's Weigh (Average) - 4950#
Redneck Factor (this includes number of times beer is swilled on film, mullets, fat chicks, you get the picture) - 8.2
Best Moment - Austin's brother's girlfriend gets out of the Heep/Buggy and stands in front of the camera with a nice ass
The second section moves us further into the land of cotton as we roll into Summertown TN. Looks like they filmed it in the middle of summer, tons of tube and tank tops and a world of dust. The Suburban White Guys follow a wide variety of rigs around, most with "Cut Puds" on them and with a wide variety of vehicles. Most had rocks and rear steer, some fancy motors. Some clown with a HUGE MOFO of a cab truck that took "3 years to build" was interviewed and it made me proud to be from the south This was the best section if I were to say any of it was good. Lots of spilt coolers and beer guts. The overlay music was horrible as always. Lots of "flatbill" angry white boy california music with fat Charlie Daniels listening rednecks driving in the background.....
Coolness of Rigs - 5 out of 10 My favorite was the one Heep with "Cut Puds" on backwards with maybe 1/16th or tread left
Rig Weight (average) - 5800#
Redneck Factor - 9.1
Best Moment - when it ended
The final area of wheeling was a trip with my buddy Dan Dibble to Gay Rock. They hit a variety of trails with the usual Dibblesque gusto...lots of HP, shitty Super Swamper traction and mad use of rear steer. Plenty of high speed action...kinda old school stuff compared to what Cole and Timmy are up to these days. Just a lot of romping and stomping. Seemed a tiny bit wet since they were actually having problems on some of the trails.
Coolness of Rigs - 6 of 10.....Dan's rig would have possible pushed it higher, but the HUGE Dakota knocked it back down
Rig Weight (average) - 6200# I have never seen so many huge rigs. Huge. That Dakota musta weighed 7 grand.
Redneck Factor - 8.0 Not as much spilt beer/coolers/asses on this piece, but plenty to get you excited...come on!
Best Moment - Jackass in MONSTER Dakota with no cage makes it up Cable just to flop it at the top. The interview of him upside-down afterward made me remember how ****ing dirty and nasty that place is and reminded me never to go back when it is dry.
The best part of this film is the car crushing onthe extras at the Pirate 2 release party because a couple of strippers are in a H2 and they are hot.
I rate this film a 3 out of 10
If anyone would like a used-once-and-never-to-be-watched-again copy of Return to Power, please send $5 to cover shipping and handling to [email protected] you hurry, I will include a copy of Dan Dibbles Summertown New Years Eve video which is 10X better for an additional $1
