Return to Power - Review

Got the movie the other day and watched it. I was dissapointed. I thought there first movie was way better.
Rowdy Sessions would have really sucked if it didn't have Tom Wayes, Jason Berger, "my favorite buggy ever"
and the Tfab buggies. I thought it would be more throttle down type stuff.

I will say my goal is to make it out west and wheel with Tom, I would love to see him come here and wheel.
 
I think I've really just gotten spoiled wheelin' with the throttle junkies around here. Rowdy Sessions was very boring toi me (except for Tom and the trent fab dude) and I actually fast forwarded most of it. I do want to see this Return to Power though, just because. ;D
 
I would also like to see Return to Power, but I will have to borrow it because I am to cheap to buy it.

Well thanks to Nolen I just watched Return 2 Power and I will say Nolens review is right on the money.
I thought the best part was with Dibble and crew at GrayRock, because it was so long ago and you can see how much the park has changed in the past few years.
Oh well, Waiting on Rob now.
 
I agree I was also dissapointed in the video.
They shot us for two days in Moab, none of it was in the video. I called SWG and talked with Gabe, he said they slamed it together and after sitting on the video for two years printed it. Coach, the guy who shot Moab never gave them the tapes.

The part with Brad Auston and his family was entertaining. Nothing of us was worth doing anything with. We tried to help SWG, but many times they would not show for a event.

For the record I like Gabe but I think his new business has taken over his time.

I did not promote it or will after seeing the results.

I sent it to Cole with the DVD Dibble made me of Summertown. Dibble's home video was 10x better than the Return to Power DVD.

Interesting... was this when Coach was in Moab---ohhh EJS 2006? I agree I like Gabe and there is not enough volume YET to support full-time rock-sport video producers, UNFORTUNATLY... The guys on here have seen it, I have cut way back on where I can and will go to shoot video since getting a regular job. Same deal with Gabe, except I'm takin my sweet ass time to make something that is whoop-ass, it doesnt feel good to release a shitty product. Been there, done that.
