I do not think I have ever wheeled in weather as hot as it was this weekend. We were done riding around noon and loaded up and got out of there before it got REAL hot. The temp in the truck on the way home at one point said 105, that was around 3:30 over close to Meridian.
DV8 what color TJ were you in? I saw a couple that morning with tops on and windows rolled up.

If you left at noon we missed you....I kept looking for your orange wheels! I waited til the hottest part of the day and rolled in with Warpig....green TJ with tan halftop, orange front bumper,rockers, and cage. You'd have known if you'd seen us....we gave those perimeter roads all they wanted and then some! ;D

You guys would just laugh at my tiny motor. Joel says it sounds like Mexican's weed-eating a yard when I lay into it
Joel and I are headed to Hot Springs to wheel with Jim Alexander on Sep 14th and 15th. You guys should come down and wheel. I like Hot Springs a bunch. There are some serious climbs there and they are tough wet or dry.
Bring it, it will be fun. Also, you can watch Joel eat a plate of Cheese Fries at Outback. As long as you keep your limbs clear of the action, it is great to watch.
