Runner Buggy

I wasnt exactly building a rig for a set of 39 inch stickies.:masturbanana[1]:

I have been reading a bunch on pirate about the southern style rockwell buggies. I am on par with most measurements except wheelbase. I am at 114, and most on pirate are 120-126. My top cage is at 80 inches.:awesomework:

Anyways I got most of the fuel tank done tonight. I still need to do the sump and lines/fittings.

Some of fuel cell. It is all 12G sheet. 17.2 gallons.

are you going to baffle it or put in a sump, so you dont starve it at angles?

:corn:

did he say 28" OMFG .. better mount a winch to the roof :;

got any Ideas on how to bring it down? Its actually 26 at ride height.

whats the belly on robins rig sit at?

If I was able to bring it down on the diffs more it would make the links run uphill at ride height.

If your trying to compare yer rig to a southern rig, Well you shouldnt.

They all have serious horsepower. They are low(20 inch or less belly). And they all use a auto for the quick shift.

Stretch the front more to lower it. Move your lower links above the skid. Thats a good start.

Why not? I have a decent amount of SBC parts set aside to make a little fun. Honestly this thing will get thrashed at the dunes more than moab, hammers, etc.

My rigs not as tall as thought, with 6 front and 7 rear for uptravel I have 26 inches at ride height.

20 inch or less? are you crazy? I have about ten old crawl mags layin here and even Tim Camerons rig on 44s has a belly height of 23 inches.

I dont have the money to build a good auto that will handle my foot right now, maybe someday. It would be nice in the sand too with an auto.

I dont want to stretch the front. It sits at 114 inches for wheelbase. I dont want it any longer so it will still fit around here.

Message me when you test it across the street:redneck:

Your not robbing parts off of Stomper are you:eeek:

That seems to be a common Pierce county builders down fall:flipoff: "CrazyDaze!!"
