running propane?

Yeah there heavy,it would be the same amount of work either way I go with the mounting to the cage bar behind the front seats.Does the tank run complety emtpy on its side compared to vertical or vise versa?Im just trying to figure out some more leg room for when my back seat is in.I already moved the rear seat back as far as possible. My son is 6'6 and has a hard time fitting

He needs his own wheeler!

I try to mount then horizontal with a little down angle. The pickup straw goes down and back so it picks up HZ or VT. So if layed flat and the valve end just a little higher then the bottem end, it makes that pickup tube land right in the bottom corner.

Alot of folks only run one tank too. Theres always someone in a truck that can pack your extra weight for ya if ya feel the need to bring two tanks.

The best added weight is carried by someone else!

here is a diagram of the tank. Don't know if you need it, but it helped me understand I had a lot left when the gauge read empty. When I about 2 minutes from being completely empty, my a/f ratio goes lean and won't come back until it eventually dies.

Or use the opportunity to put that rebuild/repair cash towards better heads

You could look for some older camel hump heads (you said 350, right?) and bump the comp ratio up a little bit and get some in the 2.02 flavor so you can get MORE in there.
