School me on bump stops

Looking to try and pick up a set for the front of the juggy. Hopefully get a set on sale for black Friday.
how do I measure for the correct size? Mounting I see there are couple different mounting cans. clam style and pin. Which style is better and why?
They will be going on a juggy that rock crawls and does see a little road time.

Just come over and cut the pinch style can mounts off the juggy for reusing on your rig.

I think you ought to cut them off and weld them back a bit higher. You're welcome to come borrow the tools

Sucks that that happened to you, but I'm glad you posted. It was enough to push me to take a chance buying from ballistic. Surely they've improved since they ruined their name back in the pirate4x4 days right?

I tried to get fancy and tig'd in my cans. Was pretty new to tig so probably way too hot and too slow.

I will say, mine are Radflos.
No ideas if that make any difference but the fit seems to be a lot looser than what you're showing here.

Sold the bump stops so just have the cans sitting on the frame. Definitely not worth the rework at this time.
