sheet metal

i was thinking of buying some sheet metal so i could cap off the end of my bed and mount my blingin led tail/turn lights but im unsure of what thickness i should go with. any ideas?

well, whatever u can find for cheep, u can make almost any thickness strong by adding angles to it and layers and so on, i tend to over build stuff with steel, i would say about 1/8 but then u are not in "sheet" metal anymore

16-18 gauge

i was thinkin 16ga and as far as strength i could always get some rod shop to put some fancy beadrolls or whatever thats called on it... it might even go with my sooper dooper clear lens lights.
