Shims?

Brad, what's the difference??? The end result's the same....:corn: I'm not saying I shim the race, just wondering why 'that's not the hot ticket'???:corn:

anything you add under the large pinion race has to be matched with the same solid pinion spacer shims or a longer crush sleeve to avoid to much preload on the pinion bearings.

I had to once due to only large shims in a Yukon setup kit...thought it was a bit strange at the time
