Shop compressor

Looking to purchase a big compressor that I can run in my current two car garage on 220v but be large enough for the shop I plan to build eventually. I want it powerful enough to run sandblaster, plasma etc for short periods of time. This will be for hobby use and I don't want to buy a piece of junk

ingersoll rand 80 gal should do just fine mine will run every thing in my shop .......
around $1000 at tractor supply

I have a Campbell Hausfield 60 gallon 220v that is working great so far. Picked it up from the tractor supply for around $400 on sale.

I use a new Quincy in my shop that I think is going to out last me. I have yet to use a finer compressor. Quiet and smooth.

Hook a 60 gal 220 Campbell H with it for sandblasting. Sand needs CFM.

Stay away from the Single stage, 5hp Ingersoll Rand.
First compressor pump went down @ 5 months, spun crank bearing. :****: Replaced under warranty after waiting a month until a Tech could look at it. The replacement lasted less than 2 months, same problem.
