shop for 6.0 ford diesel repairs

Yeah, but that's like saying that a stock Wrangler is a grreat wheeling rig if you ditch the stock axles and wheels and tires and suspension and transfer case and... and... and... :fawkdancesmiley::haha:
Hey now.... let's keep on topic.

He says his current symptoms include;
Engine runs 230* after a short commute from home to work (maybe 15 min) with gentle driving (not spooling the turbo above 10 psi boost)
Has boiling coolant in the overflow bottle.

Hey now... I asked nicely in Post 1 that no comments were needed on the quality of the ford 6.0. Furthermore, this is a tech thread, not a chatterbox thread. Let's please try and keep on task.

I usually just pull the cab or pull the motor than do it in truck as a tech there is alot more room to work. And a cab can.be up in 2 hours or so. If the bedplate is leaking than I just pluck the motor. Doing it in the truck.isnt terrible especially if you pull the frontend off so you can just stand and work but at that point you might as well just pull the motor.definately.take it somewhere or someone that.has done alot and knows proper diagnosis.
