grrr.... seeing these makes me wish i could see my truck in there... im so coming up this weekend to go over my ideas.

Thanks Crash.....:D lookin good so far. I'll be watchin this one close.

Q1; Why the side and A-pillar combo and not a "halo" type design here?
Q2; Why is the A-pillar tube going down at an angle and not the "traditional" "S" type of bend?
Q3; Once it's in, welded I presume, how will you get into the dash if necessary?

Thanks again

Q1--- Really just how I like to do them. my style/my brain and how it works :D

Q2--- Whats less likely to fail? Straight or "S" if you were to land on your lid?

Q3--- I don't know :D The dash is only trimmed to get the tubing where I want it then it will be notched larger to get it out. Plus the cage will be able to slide back a hair to add to it.

Thanks Crash.....keep us posted.

I agree the straight is stronger then the "s" but want to hear/read your op.

If you don't want any of the venting you can also just lop a U in the dash on the top behind the vent--but you truely don't gain anything--and in actuallity this way would be stonger due to a less angle of a bend above the dash..

Always open to tube work :;

QTD:haha:(then add the new pic to it)

I sure would like to do a cage rather then an EXO but for me and EXO would be easier.

Sorry for the hijack. Carry on.

Not possible to pull the dash and go behind it? The only reason, would be for more legroom and the ease of getting in and out of the truck.

Ever seen that with the Toy crowd?

Seen it on taco's and a couple toy trucks--but like I stated you don't gain anything because the a-pillar still lands in the same spot
